Small groups meet at the homes of members of the church, and each cater to the needs of the members of the groups. These groups are made up not of just Grace Alive Outreach Church members, but anybody is welcome to come – anytime! There are currently small groups meeting on alternating Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in both the Brandermill area and “the old west end” of Richmond.
Men of Integrity – (M.I.) meet on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m. at a local eatery. The breakfast is an informal fellowship where men come together to share, encourage and pray for one another. It is followed by a time of praise & worship and prayer. There is a teaching given by one of the men or a guest speaker, as well as a time of ministry as the Holy Spirit leads. Men are encouraged to bring their Bibles, appetites, and invite friends and neighbors. Some meetings will begin with breakfast and then adjourn to the church.
Women of the Word – (WOW) is an informal gathering for fellowship usually scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The women have a time of praise & worship, a teaching given by one of the women, a time of sharing, prayer and ministering to one another. This is a powerful and intimate time of fellowship and is open to all women at the church as well as friends and neighbors.
Children’s Ministry – The children’s ministry works hard to set a solid foundation for the young people in our church. The workers in the children’s ministry help to shape the children’s understanding of Jesus and what it means to be a Christian with a consistent witness of love and grace. The Children enjoy the teaching they receive at their level during services through arts and crafts, Bible stories, movies, plays, and puppet outreaches. Our young people get an early start on their walk in Christ. Children’s Church, Ages 7 through 5th grade Sheep’s Gate, Ages 4-6 Lamb’s Gate, Ages 2-3 Baby Gate, Ages 0-2
